I was very nervous finding a dentist in Guelph. I chose Guelph Village Dental because of the reviews and also it’s extremely close to me. The 5 star reviews are not lying! The whole place is extremely welcoming, comfy dentist chairs, (with a massaging option upon request) nice television so you can watch Netflix (which is a great distraction from what is actually happening to your mouth) haha. The staff are amazing, very friendly! Definitely 5 stars! I’m always happy to go to my next appointment! You guys rock! :)read more

Leslie and I have been patients of GVD for about a year now. We are both very pleased with Dr. M and all of the medical and admin staff. The office is very nice and friendly as evidenced by the atmosphere. You can tell a good place by the happiness of the staff and GVD is at the forefront. Great Experience at this office, both for myself, and my kids. From Melissa at the front desk, to cleanings with Andrea, to (dreaded drilling) with Dr. Mistry, always an enjoyable experience - yes even getting cavities fixed- I always laugh and am at ease at Guelph Village Dental. My 7yo has had considerable dental work completed by Guelph Village Dental (baby root canal, extraction, multiple cavities). The staff all took the time to get to know him and help him through his fears, and still get the work done. He has a specific love for "Mr Thirsty" and a hate on for cotton. Dr Mistry and his team made sure to keep the cotton to a minimum when possible, and always gave him a few extra moments of "Mr Thirsty". Highly Recommend this officeread more

After asking friends for suggestions on dentists who understand dental anxiety, I was referred to Guelph Village Dental. After emailing back and forth, I set up an appointment, and would like to say I have been thrilled ever since. Just thinking about my previous dentist used to send me into an extreme anxiety attack. Now, I have no problem with booking future appointments, and have absolutely no anxiety. They offer numerous options for those with concerns, including massage chairs, noise-cancelling headphones, netflix, and other "heavier" calming options. The team always makes me feel relaxed and welcome. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new, less stress, dentist. :)read more

if you have dental phobia, Dr Mistry and his staff will cure you, from the moment you walk in, till the moment you leave, you are made to feel completely comfortable during your dental experience. What sets apart Dr Mistry's office from others is his state of the art equipment, attention to detail, open communication and most importantly, his level of skill and knowledge of modern dental practices. Excellent experience. Considering my procedure was significant and one of those not so pleasant ones, I was impressed with the results and had no post procedure discomfort. Dr. Mistry heads a top notch staff, in a facility that boasts state of the art equipment, with an obvious focus on both patient care and experience. Overall a great experience. Why, you ask? Well, the last time I visited a dentist was when I was 6 years old; I am currently 30 years of age. Dr. Mistry and his staff made me feel at ease. Everything speaks great, from the design and decor of the office, the smile of Andrea at the front desk to Dr. Mistry's great bedside manner. I have been to a lot of Doctors and I usually can't wait to escape their presence but this was different. Oh, and they also do great work. I had two cavities and was in desperate need of cleaning and everything was taken care of. I highly recommend Dr.Mistry's dental office. PS: The massage chair and Netflix are definitely an added bonus.read more

I put off having a VERY old bridge replaced for many years because of the fear of doing so. Eventually, I had to face the inevitable. Do it, or walk around with a prominent tooth missing for the rest of my life. And then I found Dr. Mistry and his engaging and hip team to tackle not only my dental issues, but also my dental chair anxieties. Everybody there went above and beyond the call of duty to help me relax. I got to catch a chair massage and watch a new documentary on Netflix all while getting the job done! Best part of all?
